Goldendoodle Breed
Goldendoodles are an engaging hybrid breed resulting from the crossbreeding of Golden Retrievers and Poodles. The size and color of the puppies are influenced by the characteristics of their parent breeds, with Golden Retrievers exhibiting a range of coat shades from light cream, gold to copper-red, while Poodles can be found in white, cream, apricot, golden, red, chocolate, and black, with various coat textures including curly and silky. Our Goldendoodles typically have a wavy to slightly curly coat reminiscent of traditional hunting styles, with shades ranging from cinnamon to bright golds and sunset reds, averaging between 55-65 pounds for American Goldens, while our English Cream line averages around 75 pounds.

Goldendoodle Distinction
The distinction between F1 and F1b Goldendoodles is significant: the F1 Goldendoodle is a first-generation mix of 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle, yielding a variety of coat types, predominantly wavy or curly with rare straight coat options. In contrast, the F1b Goldendoodle, often referred to as a multi-generation doodle, is the result of breeding an F1 Goldendoodle back to a Poodle, leading to increased Poodle influence and more consistent wavy or curly coats, which are generally more allergy-friendly. Both F1 and F1b Goldendoodles can produce similar coat styles, but curlier coats tend to have minimal shedding rates if any.

Goldendoodle Sizes
The size of Goldendoodles is primarily determined by whether the Poodle parent is a Standard or Miniature Poodle, alongside some Golden Retrievers bred for larger sizes. We offer four size options: Mini Petite (25 lbs. and under, averaging 16-22 lbs., available only in F1b), Mini (25-35 lbs., also only in F1b), Medium (45-55 lbs., utilizing moyen or medium-sized Poodles), and Standard (55 lbs. and up, averaging 55-65 lbs., using standard-sized Poodles). Our years of dedicated breeding have allowed us to confidently offer these size options, aligning with your desired weight range.

Mini Petites and Minis are exclusively available in F1b due to the breeding process, which requires two generations to achieve this size. Both parents are selected from mini Poodles on both sides, ensuring that the puppies are more likely to fall within your desired weight range.
